Abstract
- Research indicates that carbon budget imbalances in the Bermuda Atlantic Time-series Study may be explained by zooplankton migration in the seasonal absence of deep mixing. Diel migration was found to produce three times as much dissolved organic carbon than diapycnal mixing.
