Haplotype and allele frequencies for three genes of the dopaminergic system in South American Indians

Research is presented on the frequencies of genetic receptors in five Brazilian Indian tribes. Results of this research are compared with previous results; genetic receptors were found to be highly polymorphic while geographic dichotomy is shown between Indians of South America and those of North and Central America, with the exception of the Wai Wai of the Amazon.
