Abstract
- This study investigates the relationship between sexual arousal, intoxication, and attitudes toward unprotected sex in college-age men. Results demonstrating that aroused intoxicated men report more favorable attitudes toward unsafe sex support the alcohol myopia theory, or the belief that intoxicated people are highly influenced by salient environmental cues.
