MuonSR studies of the vortex state in type-II superconductors

This review discusses the unique phase of the matter related to its response to a magnetic field leading to a vortex state of type-II structure in superconductor and using muon spin rotation techniques to understand the phenomenon. Data indicate that the technique provides a sensitive local probe to measure the spatial inhomogeneous magnetic field of the vortex state of the matter.
