Abstract

Long-term exercise compliance after for chronic low-back pain (CLBP) rehabilitation of an intensive nature has been studied with the finding that exercise behaviors can be increased and maintained in CLBP patients without adversely affecting pain/function. Exercise behaviors in 122 consecutive subjects with CLBP were assessed at evaluation, 3-month and 12-month follow-up using patient-completed questionnaires. The subjects completed a program of quota-based exercise.
