Abstract
- The US Securities and Exchange Commission's new rules limiting 'selective disclosure' of financial data from firms to favored Wall Street analysts has won nearly 3,000 favorable letters during the rulesmaking comment period. However, 'Reg FD' may have unintended consequences, such as making all firms less available to scrutiny.
