Abstract
- Researchers continue to develop therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals to treat cancer. These drugs preferentially bond to tumor tissue and deliver a dose of radiation to destroy the tumor. This minimizes damage to healthy tissue and reduces the side effects of radiation therapy.
