Acute creatine loading increases fat-free mass, but does not affect blood pressure, plasma creatinine, or CK activity in men and women

Abstract

Results indicate that blood pressure, renal function, or plasma creatine kinase activity are not affected by the administraion of acute creatine monohydrate. However, fat-free mass is significantly increased and is more evident in men than in women.
