Emerging infectious diseases and amphibian population declines

This review presents data on two newly emerging chytridiomycosis and ranaviral wildlife infectious diseases and their impact on the global decline of amphibian populations. Amphibians affected are the golden toad of Costa Rica and seven Australian species including gastric-brooding frogs.
