New Mondeo puts Focus on handling

Ford is planning to launch the new Mondeo at the Paris Motor Show in September 2000. The new model, which will be available in the UK from November, features a longer and wider platform, and Control Blade double-wishbone rear suspension. The series will include direct injection petrol and diesel versions, along with a spacious estate model. The new Mondeo will not be sold in the US.
