Abstract: Analysis is provided between the performance of the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the Nasdaq Composite Index. Technology sector stocks have sky-rocketed, far-surpassing the projected earnings of the industrial sector. During the initial months of 2000, the Dow Jones fell 11%, whereas the Nasdaq showed an 8% rise.
