Campylobacter jejuni contains two Fur homologs: characterization of iron-responsive regulation of peroxide stress defence genes by the PerR repressor

Research has been conducted on the peroxide stress genes alkyl hydroperoxide reductase expression repressed by iron. Results indicate that the iron repression is carried out by the Fur protein.
