Abstract
- Genetic differences between crown-of-thorns starfish, Acanthaster planci, populations have been studied in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. Allozyme data are reported and compared with published Western Australia, Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea data from 39 populations to give a complete description of the genetic structure of A. planci to compare with those from Linckia laevigata and to test the color morphs of A. planci to see whether they are genetically different.
