Functional characterization of the CFTR R domain using CFTR/MDR1 hybrid and deletion constructs

The CFTR R domain is discussed relative to its functional characterization through use of CFTR/MDR1 deletion and hybrid constructs. Results indicate that the MDR1 linker domain may be substituted effectively for part of the CFTR protein regulatory domain.
