Abstract
- A study of nursing homes finds that most, motivated by a mixture of common sense and compassion for those very near death, do not follow the standard paradigm for attempted cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Nursing home staff are, after all, the ones who take care of the patients daily and who know them best.
