Error mode prediction

In the area of Human Reliability Analysis (HRA) there is a need for methods to predict the occurrence of erroneous actions. An approach for qualitative performance prediction is presented, based on the Cognitive Reliability and Error Analysis Method (CREAM). Predictions of potential erroneous actions was made for operators using alarm systems. Predictions were found to be correct in over 70% of the cases.
