Abstract

An experiment indicates that the emission temperature inside imploding cavitation bubbles is reliant on the thermal conductivity and the polytropic ratio of the bubble contents. During bubble collapse the identity of the bubble contents mutates as a cavitation bubble works as a small chemical reactor.
