Neuroendocrine synaptic vesicles are formed in vitro by both clathrin-dependent and clathtin-independent pathways

Research was conducted to examine the formation of synaptic vesicles (SVs) in human cells with or without added clathrin. The results show that SVs are synthesized by pathways using endosomes, a protein, and clathrin, and an other using a plasma membrane but no clathrin.
