Abstract
- The assessment of an expanded version of a mobile cardiac muscarinic receptor is presented. The model was derived from studies of the binding of N-(3H)methylscopolamine and (35S)GTPgammaS to cardiac muscarinic receptors and their attendant G proteins in the ventricular membranes of hamsters. The model's failure to come up with a mechanistically consistent data description indicates that multiple states of affinity may not be the result of ligand-regulated equilibrium.
