Help-seeking by African American drug users: A prospective analysis

Abstract

Help-seeking was found to be more likely for African American drug users with more formal education, and those have higher scores on both drug-related problem recognition and ethnic identity. The results indicates that ethnic identity, although having no dominant effect on help-seeking, may contribute to help-seeking.
