Abstract

Research was conducted to provide a solution to the problem of electrostatics of the conducting double spheres of arbitrary radii placed in an arbitrary potential field. The approach was based on Kelvin's transformation combined with reflection and translation characteristics for harmonic functions. The proposed theorem admits interpretation of the image system for several imposed potentials in the presence of the two-sphere assembly.
