Abstract
- Research was conducted to examine in detail the vibrational assignment of liquid bromobenzene. To separate the integrated intensities due to various transitions, the imaginary molar polarizability spectrum was fitted between 3240 and 140 cm-1. The calculation of the transition moments and squares of the dipole moment derivatives with respect to normal coordinates for bromobenzene was carried out. Comparison with other experimental results for benzene-d was performed.
