Congress to receive first IRS oversight report June 30.

The Electronic Tax Administration Advisory Committee will report to Congress on Jun 30, 1999. The Committee has the responsibility of developing a plan to make electronic filing of tax returns the method of choice for taxpayers. Their report will also include a discussion of how small businesses and the self-employed can increase their use of electronic filing.
