Abstract

A new economic system is arising in the international economy. This new traditional economy simultaneously endeavors to have economic decision making included within a traditional socio-cultural framework, which is usually identified with traditional religion, while at the same time aspires to employ modern technology and to be included into the modern world economy to a certain degree. Activities in developing such a system were analyzed particularly with Islamic and neo-Confucian economic systems.
