Economic slump doesn't depress market interest

Brasilplast99 was a trade show held in March, 1999 in Sao Paolo, Brazil. It showcased new technologies in plastics molding from different countries all over the world. Although the plastics market in Brazil is quite small, the demand is significantly large enough for long-term business. Foreign companies are enjoying the recent liberalization of Brazilian trade. As a result, several companies have set up shop in the country, ready to tap into available market opportunities.
