Abstract: Research was conducted to analyze research validity, the validity of a whole study. A model was developed for understanding research validity based on the concepts of T.D. Cook and D.T. Campbell. The influence of the reliability and validity of instruments utilized in the study on the research validity of a whole study was also examined. Moreover, similarities and differences between measurement and research reliability and validity were analyzed.
