Abstract: Bernina of America Inc., a division of Bernina in Switzerland, is considering expanding U.S. distribution of its vacuum cleaners, which are now distributed through the same channels as its sewing machines. The company feels that its good retail sales make it plausible to sell its three models of upright vacuums to a wider list of retail stores.
