Abstract

The short time relaxation effects in amorphous ferromagnetic ribbons of Fe64Co21B15 and Co77B23 are investigated using three-dimensional neutron depolarization and magnetic induction method. Results show that the time dependence of magnetization caused by the stabilization of the domain wall to an equilibrium position is dependent on the sample composition and stress anisotropy. A model was also derived to analyze the experimental findings.
