Boston investment company buys 14 properties from ex-Cowboy

Beacon Capital Partners Inc., a Boston, MA-based private real estate investment trust, has acquired 14 properties in North Dallas, TX, for $91.5 million from Breunig Commercial Management Inc. The properties, which are 95% leased, include seven office properties and seven research and development properties comprising a total of 1.34 million sq ft. Over half of the leases will be renewed within three years. The purchase is the firm's first move outside Boston and its third acquisition since its formation in January 1998.
