LaSalle clears the deck for two more mergers

La Salle Partners Inc. of Dallas, TX, is conducting separate merger negotiations with Lend Lease Corp. of Australia and Jones Lang Wootton of London, UK. The merger deal with Lend Lease will result with its merger with Compass Management and Leasing Inc. of Atlanta, GA, Lend Lease's real estate management services subsidiary and the creation of the Metroplex's third-biggest commercial property manager. An agreement with Jones Lang will result in La Salle's acquisition of the firm's international operations.
