Employee committees: What effect are they having?

A participative management (PM) method, or employee committee, is examined through results of a poll of about 200 companies. The results provide information on the general implementation of employee committees, their popularity with management, and the participation of employee committees in representation elections held by the National Labor Relations Board. PM methods cover the formation of job performance goals, job assignments, and quality circles.
