USAF reviews progress of new fighter program

Abstract

The Air Force is reviewing the technology and design of their Advanced Tactical Fighter plane which is being bid for by 7 companies. The project is expected to be worth about $4 billion and is expected to keep the U.S. ahead of the Soviets into the 1990s.
