Synthetic lubricants eliminate felt-roll bearing failures at Champion paper mill

In order to insure the proper running of paper machinery, Champion International has worked with Mobil Oil to produce a synthetic lubricant which has the desired viscosity at higher temperatures. Since it is not a petroleum product, it neither thickens nor oxidizes, and it provides longer oil life and better lubrication of the machinery.
