Abstract
- Telecommunication equipment suppliers are having difficulty in developing digital PBX systems. There are several causes including problems with hardware and software design and difficulties in marketing due to the slow rate of progress so far. Some companies, such as Rockwell International and Mitel, have slowed or stopped R&D in this area.
