Abstract
- The article presents a newly developed self-consistent, mean-field model, which can be used for examining the charge-carrier injection and unipolar transport exhibited by an organic semiconductor diode. The model is shown to be based on the analysis of the realistic density-of-states distribution and the presence of trap states in an organic material.
