Abstract
- A study is conducted to understand the role of mutation of rbdA which encodes a fusion protein consisting of PAS-PAC-GGDEF-EAL multidomains in decreased biofilm dispersal in Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The data obtained revealed that the second messenger cyclic-di-GMP (c-di-GMP)-degrading regulatory protein rbdA promotes biofilm dispersal through downregulating biofilm formation and upregulating production of the factors associated with biofilm dispersal.
