Autonomous neighbor relation detection and handover optimization in LTE

A field trial was conducted to show that automatic neighbor relation (ANR) works successfully in a real-life environment. ANR is utilized to automatically generate information in neighbor relation tables for handovers. Solutions for problematic handover scenarios and self-optimization of relevant handover parameters are also discussed.
