Abstract
- A study to examine how team-members of an English university rugby squad view the meaning of masculinity is presented. The teammates believe their coaches displays outdated traditional version of masculinity and they instead adopt a more inclusive approach to masculinity-making. The players, who are all heterosexuals, oppose homophobia, mysogyny and excessive risk taking.
