Catalytic enantioselective radical cyclization via regiodivergent epoxide opening

The mechanisms involved in the catalytic enantio- and stereoselective radical cyclization process facilitated by a regiodivergent epoxide opening are discussed. The significance of the catalysts in controlling the process is also demonstrated.
