Abstract
- How irrigation expansion, paved roads, electricity, and access to credit channels resulted in higher rural incomes in Bangladesh is discussed. Variations in the growth of infrastructure and credit programs are attributed to exogenous local agroclimatic endowments. Insights into poverty reduction for the poorest households are presented.
