Abstract

Surface-supported supramolecular self-assembly is used for generating multicomponent two-dimensional metal-organic coordination networks on a Au(111) surface. Coordination networks providing structural and chemical homogeneity are realized by judiciously choosing the dosages of the constituent ligands and the chemical substitution of the porphyrin ligands.
