Abstract
- The article explains the synthesis and the properties of the various La[(Fe,Co,Si).sub.13] bulk alloys and ribbons that are shown to exhibit high temperature magnetocaloric effects. The peak of magnetic entropy change taking place in these ribbons is shown to be smaller in the ribbons as compared to the annealed ingot counterparts.
