Magnetic property of polycrystalline magnetic garnet for voltage driven type magneto-optic spatial light phase modulator

Several studies are conducted to explain the magnetic properties of the various polycrystalline magnetic garnets that are used for voltage driven type magneto-optic spatial light phase modulators. The magnitude and the linearity of the stress is shown to be completely dependent on the static bias field and magnetostriction constant.
