Frustration up, pay down

A survey by the periodical Food Processing shows that the average pay in the food and beverage industry has posted an annual decrease of 6.3 percent, to $93,537. Plant operations is the only job category that saw an increase in 2009 at half-percent. Meanwhile, a two percent point drop in job satisfaction is also observed.
