Another look at the Fizz Keeper: a case-study laboratory exercise for high school students

A laboratory activity for high school students that demonstrates LeChatelier's principle through the use of the Fizz Keeper is described. The Fizz Keeper is a device designed to enhance carbonation in soft drink bottles that have been previously opened. The premise of the manufacturers' claim, however, may result in misconceptions of LeChatelier's principle.
