cis-1,2,-Cyclohexanediol is an efficient and versatile bidentate O-donor ligand that has provided a highly active Cu-catalytic system and has also promoted the mild and efficient stereo- and regiospecific synthesis of vinyl sulfides. The method is noteworthy given its mild conditions and exceptional level of functional group tolerance.
