Abstract

BP PLC chief executive officer Tony Hayward said diversity, competition and efficiency will play key roles in balancing energy security, employment and economic development with climate change control. The world is seen to need 45 percent more energy in the year 2030. Hayward added nuclear energy and biofuels will also play a part in energy security.
