Abstract
- The effects of combat deployment to Iraq or Afghanistan of US Army or Marine Corps personnel on their children and spouses are studied. Parental combat deployment has a cumulative effect on children, including child depression and externalizing symptoms, that remains after the parent returns from deployment.
