Abstract: A study was conducted to examine the structural and magnetic properties of Fe-Nb-B amorphous/nanocrystalline alloys obtained by compaction of mechanically alloyed powders. Scanning electron microscopy images revealed that the presence of amorphous phase enhanced the quality of compaction.
