Abstract

Turbidity measurements were conducted to provide a detailed description of the binding reaction between islet amyloid polypeptide (IAPP) fibrils and lipid vesicles prepared from phosphatidylcholine. The obtained data and simulation predictions provide insight into the potential roles of IAPP amyloid fibrils in membrane binding.
